Lineville SS/HS Initiative
The Initiative will work with the following school districts:
Lineville-Clio, Central Decatur and Mormon Trail.
The purpose of the grant is to address each of the six core components that are the foundation of the Safe Schools/Health Students Initiative:
  • Safe school environment
  • violence, alcohol and other drug prevention and early Intervention
  • Too Good for Drugs Program
  • Prevention Specialist
  • Mentoring
  • After school activities
  • Tutoring
  • Strengthening Families Program
  • School and community mental health preventive and treatment intervention services
  • Assist in linking children and families with mental health services, including helping to pay sliding rate fees for families to receive mental health services.
  • Early childhood psychosocial and emotional development services
  • Parents as Teachers prenatal to Kindergarten Entry
  • Visiting Nurse to Assist Parents as Teachers education when needed
