Position
Full-time or part-time Behavioral Health Therapist to provide outpatient mental health counseling and psychotherapy services to a broad range of clients.


Location

Required Qualifications
:

·       Master’s degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited institution.

·       Iowa licensure in good standing (or license eligible) LMHC, t-LMHC, LISW, LMSW, LMFT, or t-LMFT.

·       We are looking for someone who is motivated, professional, dependable, competent, autonomous, ethical,     efficient, composed, personable, cheerful, and familiar with electronic health records.

About Us: Community Health Centers of Southern Iowa (CHCSI) is a Federally Qualified Health Center. Our growing interdisciplinary team of behavioral health providers consists of nearly 30 substance abuse counselors, therapists, social workers, psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and psychiatrists.

CHCSI manages eleven locations across south-central Iowa and north-central Missouri, including three primary care sites, eight sites providing behavioral health and substance abuse services, and one site providing student health services. Recently added services include dental in 2011, vision in 2016, mammography in 2016, and pharmacy in 2017. We are adding an Access Center crisis intervention facility in Osceola in late 2019.

Position: Charge Auditor

Position Summary:
This position audits the codes and charges for medical department services, ensuring completeness and accuracy. The Charge Auditor submits the claims for billing upon completion (no less than daily). This position is also responsible for auditing other departments’ codes and charges when possible or assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Audit the codes and quantities used for all medical department charges to ensure complete and accurate billing for services, as well as compliance with coding standards.

Analyze and interpret patient medical records to identify billable services.

Ensure final diagnoses and procedures as documented by the provider are valid and complete.

Analyze provider documentation to assure the appropriate Evaluation and Management (E&M) levels are assigned using the correct CPT.

Interact with Providers regarding billing and documentation policies, procedures and regulations.

Research information related to payer benefits, provider questions, management questions or to obtain clarification of conflicting or non-specific documentation.

Work with staff and department providers to provide diagnosis code updates and information for billing.

Work closely with the billing staff to resolve any reimbursement issues with insurance companies.

Reconcile the lab bill with the billing system to ensure all charges have been captured.

Assist with the implementation and sustaining of patient centered medical home status as needed.

Complete other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
 

High school diploma

Minimum of 1 year medical office experience. FQHC experience is preferred.

Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist for Physicians (CCS_P), or Registered Health Information Tech (RHIT) required.

Position: Purchaser

Position Summary:
Responsible for acquisition of goods and services for use within CHCSI clinics and other organizational operations.  Minimize cost of supplies utilized by CHCSI without degrading quality of outcomes.  Ensures inventory levels are minimized without sacrificing availability on demand.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     Orders, maintains, and inventories office supplies and distributes as requisitioned.
Forecasts likely levels of demand for services and product to meet the business needs and keeps a constant check on stock levels to maximize business efficiency.  Records inventory, purchase orders, and packing slips in IOS Inventory System.  Records issued stock for each department and sends accounting a monthly usage report. 

    Orders supplies for all CHCSI clinics.

     Seeks competitive bids. Conducts research to ensure the best product and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules, and quality.

     Maintains supply and accounting of postage due report, bulk mail account, and postage machine.

     Works with manufacturers, and handles most medical machine repairs and replacements.

     Works with CEO and Finance Director to negotiate contracts that offer discounted rates and have higher levels of service.

     Demonstrates a caring and helpful attitude when interacting with patients, vendors, and fellow employees.  Strives to build cooperative partnerships, by treating each person both inside and outside of the organization as a customer.

     Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other clinic personnel. 

Qualifications: 

High school diploma

Minimum of 1 year clinic office experience.

Purchasing experience is preferred.
